The collected materials offer articles and archive materials, expressing Leontief’s life and his relatives; essays about his teachers- the leading professors of Pertograd University. Furthermore, the collection contains articles, in which the ideas of the scientist are evolved.

The collection enlightens in details biography and scientific works of Leontief, rare and almost unknown facts are provided. The doctorate thesis is published, defended by the scientist in 1928 in Berlin. Materials, concerning awarding Leontief with premium of Bank of Sweden on the economic sciences in name of Alfred Nobel are presented. The meaning of Leontief’s methodology for planning in a number of countries in post-war period is covered.

Three- volume edition, containing autobiographies and Nobel lectures of Noble Prize Winners in the field of economic science for years 1969-2006.
The first volume will contain materials of Leontief. The book will be published in the end of 2006.
