In the magazine Competition and Market (N1, March, 2010) an interview with Leszek Balcerowicz, the winner of the International Leontief Medal, well-known Polish economist and professor of the Warsaw School of Economics, Innovation Will Come When The Fat Burns, was published.

Interviews were prepared after Mr. Balcerowicz speech in Leontief Centre on Institutional Systems and Economic Growth at the regular meeting of the Leontief Centre Joint Interdisciplinary Seminar, Institute of Sociology RAS, Economics and Mathematics Institute, RAS, and St. Petersburg State University - Higher School of Economics, dedicated to the Awarding Ceremony of Professor Leszek Balcerowicz by International Leontief Medal of 2008.
